Boxes

A poem

Im moving boxes
In my dreams
Reorganizing 
Ripping the seams.

I pack, I carry, 
I set back down
In a new place
Some boxes not to be found.

I move from one,
Room, To another
Opening doors and closing.
Scaling staircases.
Arms full of various belongings.

A continuous pursuit.
To find all my parts
Put them in the right place.
An internal restructuring
In my dream landscape.

Recurring most nights,
I have a lot of work to do.
True to me, in reality.
This is what I am going through.

Ive rearranged.
Rebuilt foundations.
Ive located patterns.
Attempt to disrupt them.
To rewire my brain
To make lasting change,
I'll continue to turn at one degree.
In the direction that is true to me.
